Prices of methionine remained flat during the week ending January 26.
   

Supplies of methionine remained relatively tight as one global producer had limited stocks to offer. However, prices remained stable while feed millers withhold buying amid concerns that the poultry market is performing poorer than expected.
   

Price quotes for locally produced methionine were around RMB32/kg.
